Kim Shoop-Clinic Coordinator @ Lino Lakes
Kim began her position with Advance Therapy in 2008. She brings organization and strength to our team. She loves working with our parents and their kiddos to help make them feel comfortable through their therapy journey, from the intake process, to scheduling, to discharge.  Kim also loves to lend a listening ear and help out however she can to the families that come to Advance Therapy and our Advance Therapy staff.
Kim is married to her high school sweetheart, Brian. Brian and Kim have a blended family with four children – Austin, Tori, Becky, and Anna – and two grandchildren, Jameson and Carmynn. They also take care of her mom and sister, Paula. They also have two yellow labs, Ripley and Battle.
In her free time, Kim loves to travel (Jamaica is her happy place!). She loves to camp, fish, and spend time with family and friends. She and Brian also enjoy going to many country music concerts through out the year. One of Kim’s favorite things is Christmas and decorating for Christmas!

We understand that you know your child better than anyone. We are here to partner with you and your family, working to find out your priorities and help build your resources. When you are equipped with new ways to support your child's unique needs, you become the best teacher for your child.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

at Advance Therapy WE ARE UNITED IN our BELIEF THAT ALL CHILDREN:

  • Have the power to learn!

  • Are curious & creative!

  • Can succeed!

No two children have exactly the same skills or learning style. That’s why we collaborate with parents and caregivers to create an individual plan of care for every child.

We also believe that every family is unique, so our staff works hard to take a "big picture" approach to consider all ways we can support parents/caregivers and their children.

This philosophy extends to our school-bases services as well. We are committed to student success in all aspects of school life. Our therapists engage with students' whole team to provide meaningful support.
